Ian is originally from Connecticut and graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and electronic media. At Tennessee, he was a Student Staff Photographer for the Tennessee Athletic Department for three years. In 2022 he was a Production Intern for the PXP Studios, a production company apart of Publicis Groupe. After he graduated, he took on the role of Photography Assistant for the University of Maryland Athletic Department during the 2024-2025 academic year. His most recent position was as the 2025-2026 Trail Blazers Photography Intern based in Portland, Oregon.
